This story appeared in the Sunday Times on the 10th February 1985. Not long afterwards the Thatcher government instigated "Euro Siege 85" forcing Laser 558 to close but it was another four years before the North Sea veteran broadcaster Radio Caroline was booted into touch on the 19th August 1989.
